About BANA

BANA is a football statistics site: standings, fixtures, results and per-player numbers for Europe's major competitions, published in eight languages.

What BANA is

BANA (banastat.io) is an independently run football data site. We take raw match data — results, line-ups, per-match player statistics — and turn it into pages you can actually read: league tables, fixture lists, squad pages, player profiles and metric leaderboards, all kept current through the season.

What you'll find here

The site covers the competitions most readers follow, and goes deeper than a scoreboard:

  • Standings, fixtures and results for the top five European leagues, plus the Champions League and Europa League.
  • Player profiles with season and per-match statistics, recent form and career history.
  • Team pages: squads, results, transfers and team-level statistics.
  • Leaderboards ranking players and teams by individual metrics in every league we cover.
  • Dedicated pages tracking Korean and Japanese players at clubs abroad.

The BANA Rating

Every player performance on the site carries a BANA Rating — our own 1.0–10.0 score, computed by us from the match data we store rather than licensed from a third party. The formula is published in full on the rating page, so you can see exactly what each number is made of.

How it works

Where the data comes from

Match, player and team data is sourced from API-Football and refreshed on a regular schedule. Ratings, aggregates, leaderboards and any analysis on the site are calculated by us from that data. We check figures where we can, but gaps or errors in upstream data are always possible — if you spot one, please tell us.

Languages

BANA is published in Korean, English, Japanese, Spanish, German, Italian, French and Indonesian. You can switch language at any time from the selector in the header.
